Something new, and GRRRRR!!!!!

So I tied another couple salmon flies, and kinda ruined the other. I had finished the Red Rover, short of finishing the head, and I took it outside to check it out under some sunlight. Well, some wind came up, flung it out of my hand, and she took some bounces along the concrete, then landed in the grass! GRRRR! I pick it up, and there is some grass stuck in the wing. Well that jacked up the wing like you wouldn't believe! The GP tail fibers on the top of the wing got all unmarried, and the tail and topping were bent and contorted as well. The underwing got all stuffed up into the main wing....uh...nightmare. Well I tried to preen the fiber back into shape, but there was no saving the topping, and most of the GP tail fibers....suck....very unhappy right now.

What is left of the Red Rover, and 45 mins wort of work to salvage what I could....might meet the razor blade here in a bit..... :(
